Fujitsu has set our vision to become a technology company that realises net positive through digital services by 2030. Net positive means that a company’s positive impact on the environment and society is greater than its negative impact. Our vision for the future is explained in the Fujitsu Technology and Service Vision 2025.

We believe that in the future, the power of technologies such as AI – working alongside human creativity – will be essential to achieving a sustainable society. Collaboration between people and AI will be the new source of value creation, ushering in the next era of transformation.

Technology has enormous power to transform existing business & industries. According to Fujitsu’s February 2025 survey of 800 CxOs in 15 countries, 81% of business leaders intend to move from a singular business model to an ecosystem-based business model. By scaling the innovation made possible by people-AI collaboration through cross-industry ecosystems, we can address social challenges, drive business growth, and generate net positive value. This is what we call regenerative ecosystems.

The Fujitsu Technology and Service Vision 2025 explores the trends that are critical for creating net positive value while driving business growth. To find out more about shaping the future and creating a better society, you can download the full Fujitsu Technology and Service Vision report below.

Fujitsu’s Purpose is to make the world more sustainable by building trust in society through innovation . To achieve this, we have carefully evaluated the environmental, social, and governance issues that are most material to our stakeholders. This is known as Fujitsu’s Materiality.

More detail on Fujitsu’s approach to materiality can be found at Materiality: Fujitsu Global, including connections between the materiality categories and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

There are 2 categories of key issues that must be resolved in order to achieve sustainable growth:

  1. Essential Contributions: Planet, Prosperity and People
  2. Foundation for Achieving Sustainable Development: Technology, Management Foundation, and Human Capital.

Materiality will be a critical priority for Fujitsu in the next 12 months and leading up to 2040, as we navigate the challenges and opportunities ahead. Understanding and acting upon our materiality ensures that we can positively impact on people and the planet, while improving prosperity for all.
